Hayden Hawke’s Secret Gold Guide Review
The Secret Gold Guide was written by Hayden Hawke, who happens to also have written my number one pick for leveling guides.
One of the reasons this guide is my favorite for making tons of gold in World of Warcraft is because it is new. Well, not new new, but it is one of the newest guides for making gold in WoW out there.
And becuase of this the content is fresh. This guide was written after the Wrath of the Lich King expansion was released. In a lot of the other gold making guides you just find rehashed and copied stuff from other guides. And a lot of it is old information. World of Warcraft changes frequently. Of course some techniques will always work no matter what is going on in the game, but some techniques need changing or updating, or even need to be gotten rid of based on the new game play features with every expansion and patch. You won’t find anything outdated or that doesn’t work in Hayden’s Secret Gold Guide.
Now that I’ve worn that welcome out, let’s take a look at what you’ll find inside the guide.
The first is the introduction. In the introduction Hayden will talk about things you need to know before you get started, like: using alts, talent builds for your character, and what addons would be best to use.
The rest of the guide is divided up into 10 chapters. They are:

Chapter 2 – Gathering Professions
Chapter 3 – Crafting Professions
Chapter 4 – Secondary Professions
Chapter 5 – Farming
Chapter 6 – Instance Farming
Chapter 7 – Dailies
Chapter 8 – Before Level 80
Chapter 9 – Leisure
Chapter 10 – Conclusion
This guide is 224 pages long (as of this writing) and each chapter if full of information you can use. The guide is also extremely well organized which is another reason I like this guide. Here is an example of what it looks like:
Finding the information you want is easy. It also contains lots and lots of pictures so you will know exactly what you need to be doing.

This guide comes as a downloadable .PDF document or can be viewed online. I personally prefer to view it online as it is a bit easier to navigate for me.
